Bilgin Yachts in Istanbul has announced the launch of a new Bilgin 155. Christened Giaola-Lu, the 46.8m motoryacht will undergo sea trials and is due for delivery to her Mexican owner in late May.
Giaola-Lu is the first project to touch water this year. Built in steel and aluminium, she is result of the collaboration that started two years ago between the shipyard design team in conjunction with Unique Yacht Design providing naval architecture and exterior styling and interiors by London-based studio H2 yacht Design.
This Bilgin 155 is the most recent vessel of the Bilgin’s displacement line. She has a beam of 9.2m s and a draft of 2.45m. The yacht has been designed and equipped to RINA Commercial Class Maltese Cross Hull, Mach, Y unrestricted and LY3 regulations.
Giaola-Lu is powered by two CAT C32 1450bhp 2300rpm marine diesel engines and is expected to reach a maximum speed of 16ks. She is also fitted in accordance with regulations A1+A2+A3 unrestricted navigation.
