The 123m yacht is Lurssen’s second launch of the year and follows on from the 106m Project Mistral launched in April.
German superyacht builder Lürssen has launched Project Jupiter. The 123m motoryacht touched the water on Thursday October 27. She is scheduled for delivery in spring 2017.
Project Jupiter is the first Lürssen yacht to feature exterior design by the London-based design studios H2 Yacht Design and March & White who worked on her interiors.
Both designs teams collaborated with Winterbothams technical services and Y.CO Management team.
With a beam of 20m, Project Jupiter features an interior atrium that opens up the centre of the yacht to pull natural light deep into the yacht.
Commenting on the project, Lürssen says that despite her size, the 100m-plus yacht radiates a very sporty and aggressive look with balanced proportions, similar to the owner’s first yacht.
Project Jupiter is Lürssen’s second launch of the year and follows on from the 106m Project Mistral launched in April. Superyacht Business understands that Mistral completed her sea trials in August.
