Italy’s Overmarine Group has delivered the latest Mangusta 165E. The 50m motoryacht is hull #10 of the flagship model and the third to be sold to the American market in the past three years.
The Italian shipyard signed the contract for this project last year and the owner has taken delivery of the yacht this morning at the Overmarine Group wharf in Viareggio.
The propulsion system aboard this unit comprises four 2600HP MTU 16V2000 M94 engines, four Rolls Royce/KameWa NP water jets and four Seakeeper stabilisers.
“The result is both that the yacht’s performance is similar to that of the past but with lower consumption and that she is extremely comfortable even when used at low speeds,” the shipyard says in a statement.
Overmarine has also announced that hulls 11 and 12 are currently under construction, both of which have already been sold and will be launched next year.
