Feadship’s sales and marketing director Bas Nederpelt has been appointed as HISWA Holland Yachting Group’s new chairman of the association’s board. The decision to appoint him, which came during a member’s meeting, was unanimous.
Nederpelt started his career in international shipping with Nedlloyd Lines, after which he gained experience in interior products in Italy and the Netherlands. Stepping over to the yachting sector in 2002, Nederpelt joined De Valk International as director, later becoming director of Nautor Swan in Monaco. He returned to the Netherlands in 2007 to take up his current position at Koninklijke De Vries Scheepsbouw (Feadship).
“I look forward to making a positive contribution to the new course of the HISWA Holland Yachting Group together with an enthusiastic board,” Nederpelt says. “Members and partners will be able to count on the commitment and enthusiasm of the staff and board members in the coming years, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to play my part.”
