Cantiere delle Marche (CdM) in Italy has announced the launch of a Darwin Class 102. The boat will touch the water immediately after the Cannes show this week. The Ancona-based shipyard will be exhibiting at Cannes making the world debut of two Explorer Yacht Darwin Class and one Nauta Air 90′.
The new Darwin Class 102 is the third delivery of Explorer yachts this year. The yacht is built for a Central American client who has a significant experience dealing with the most prestigious Northern European shipyards.
This Darwin Class 102 is the result of a close collaboration between the staff of the CdM and the owner’s team of consultants. The yacht will be presented at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
World debut at Cannes
Two Explorer Yacht Darwin Class and one Nauta Air 90 will make their debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival this week. These are Stella Del Nord, a Darwin Class 86, the shipyard’s the flagship Darwin Class 107, and Noga, the Nauta Air 90 designed by Mario Pedol and Massimo Gino of Nauta Yachts.
In addition, CdM is currently producing a Nauta Air 108, a Nauta Air 111’ and a Darwin Class 102. Besides, the shipyard is concluding two contracts for another Darwin Class 102 and other two Nauta Air 111 based on two different naval platforms, one of 299 GRT and another of 330 GRT.
