Italian yacht stabilisation specialist CMC Marine has chosen Almi d.o.o. to act as its new service centre in Croatia.
Almi, which is based in Marina Umago on the northwest coast of Istria, has a fully equipped workshop that specialises in ship repair and maintenance. Its technicians have received full training on CMC’s products, enabling them to provide assistance both on the hydraulic and electrical systems.
Operating in the Mediterranean area, particularly on the Adriatic coasts, Almi provides a further boost to the company’s service network. The news comes just months after CMC signed a service agreement with Marine & Industrial Transmissions Ltd (MIT) in the UK.
MIT is now responsible for marketing and selling CMC’s Electra and Mechanica stabiliser and Dualis truster product ranges, both for new-builds and retrofit, in northern Europe and the Mediterranean west of Croatia.
CMC Marine is an Italian manufacturer of stabilisation systems and stern and bow thrusters for yachts and passenger ships over 16m (52ft) in length. The company was founded in 2005.
