Bilgin Yachts has started the construction of Bilgin 263. The Turkish shipyard started the building process of the 80m motoryacht in March 2016 at its Yalova site, in Istanbul.

The shipyard has reported that seven of a total of 25 blocks of the steel hull are soon to be completed and that the block assembly and superstructure are due to commence in July.

Bilgin says the new yacht will be ready to touch the water in March 2017 and that she will then be moved to the shipyard’s new facility in West Istanbul Marina for completion. The 263-footer is due for delivery in 2019.

This 80m project, built to ABS class and fully LY3 compliant, is the biggest project to be built in Turkey to date and the largest project by Bilgin.

She will be powered by two MTU 16V 4000 M63R engines, which will be delivered this November.
