The new 24m Drettmann Explorer Yacht (DEY 24) has completed her journey from the Bremen-based shipyard and is now ready to make her debut at the boat show in Düsseldorf. The event runs from 23-31 January.
She is the first of a new range of 24m to 45m explorer yachts from the company.
Claudia Drettmann, the shipyard’s managing director, explains that the yacht will propel Drettmann into a new league: “This yacht is guiding us into a new era and will cause a sensation on the market. The yacht‘s technical equipment is extremely complex, the space is above average, and the quality standards are equivalent to much larger ships.”
Diesel electric POD propulsion is being utilised for the first time worldwide in a yacht of this class. The yacht also features a completely new room concept that integrates a generous beach club with a sauna and lounge area astern.
The DEY 24 will be exhibited at boot Düsseldorf in Hall 6, Stand A59.
Drettmann Yachts has sold over 10,000 vessels since its founding in 1970 including 1,500 new builds.
