Sanlorenzo has announced that 460EXP, the first explorer unit of its range, was launched last week. The new model is characterized by high technology and comfort on board, and significant cruising self-sufficiency and endurance.
This 42.2m vessel is a 460GT yacht featuring five decks and a displacement hull in steel and an aluminium superstructure.
Her external lines are strong and imposing and they evoke the big exploration ships. The superstructure is shifted forward leaving vast space on the main deck astern where water toys or a tender up to 10m can be housed while cruising. When at anchor and free of equipment, the main deck becomes a wide solarium. This 460EXP model features a large and heated swimming pool in which guests can swim against an artificial current.
The lower deck welcomes a beach-club with a bar. The stern can be fully opened to become an additional and terrace on the sea.
The interior layout includes five guest cabins on the lower deck, a fitness room, a large owner’s suite and two spacious salons on the main and upper deck. The crew cabins and service areas are large and comfortable. An under lower deck links the crew accommodation to the engine room provides the laundry space and storage necessary for long range cruising.
The 460EXP is powered by two CAT C32 Acert engines (1319 HP) making her capable of covering over 460Exp is equipped with two CAT C32 Acert engines (1319hp), capable of covering over 4,000Nm autonomously at a speed of 11kt.
Sanlorenzo 460EXP will be unveiled on September 23rd on the occasion of the Monaco Yacht Show 2015. The Italian shipyard will also exhibit Scorpion, the latest launch of the 46 Steel range.
