The Granturismo was created to respond to a market demand for steel/aluminium displacement yachts with a balance between their internal and external areas.
The Granturismo concept was presented to the yachting community in September 2011 at the Monaco Yacht Show and the contract for the construction of the first 43 metre GT was signed six months later, in March 2012, and is the second sale in the Granturismo range.
Philmi was designed by Andrea Vallicelli while her interiors are the work of Sandrine Melot. The yacht is powered by two cat engines and can reach 17 knots max with a cruising speed of 15 knots. She has a range of 2,800 nm at cruising speed. With four cabins plus the master, she can accommodate 10 guests.
Sea trials will start next week with the delivery to her owners scheduled for June 2014.
