The International Superyacht Society (ISS) has announced that its featured presentation topic for the Society’s Annual Membership Meeting & Breakfast is entitled ‘Engaging first-time superyacht clients in today’s economy’.

The program is again moderated by Diane M. Byrne of and ISS Board Member. Panelists include leading industry and non-industry executives who will discuss finance, promotion lessons from successful tourism and destination marketing, and innovative luxury product outreach.

Topics to be address during the meeting include:

Yachting, an economic engine: an overview of who today’s superyacht owners are, what they’re worth, and what they spend their money on in terms of leisure.

Yachting as a lifestyle: promoting superyacht ownership and cruising as an idea and ideal, vs. a product.

Marketing re-imagined: consumer-outreach strategies successfully adopted by non-yachting brands, and lessons from strategies that didn’t work.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday 30 October 2013 from 8:00-10:00 am in the Grande View Room at the Bahia Mar, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
