The METSTRADE show in Amsterdam has appointed Rens-Jan van Vliet as its new maritime product manager. Having previously been part of the METSTRADE team as sales manager, Van Vliet will mainly focus on the exhibition itself as well as on the further development of the Construction Material Pavilion (CMP).
Sarah Westdijk, product manager of the maritime domain since 2005, will now focus on developing the Marina & Yard Pavilion (MYP) and SuperYacht Pavilion (SYP) at METSTRADE. She will also manage the ICOMIA World Marinas Conference, which will take place during the METSTRADE show 2016 in RAI Amsterdam.
“We are very pleased with welcoming Rens back to the team,” says Irene Dros, manager of the maritime domain. “He shares our enthusiasm for the show and the industry, which are key basic factors for success and quality.”
After a successful METSTRADE show in 2014, Van Vliet left his position as sales manager to take up a new role as product manager at the RAI’s Intertraffic domain. As product manager of METSTRADE he will bring together the function and the industry.
The 2015 METSTRADE show runs from November 17-19 at the Amsterdam RAI Exhibition Centre in the Netherlands.
