Monte Carlo Yachts (MCY) has announced a strategy for expansion in China with partner Simpson Marine. The brokerage company headquartered in Hong Kong has been appointed exclusive distributor for Monte Carlo Yachts in Mainland China and Taiwan.
This agreement is part of an expanded dealership that builds upon the company’s successful launch of MCY in SE Asia last year.
“Simpson Marine launched Monte Carlo Yachts in South East Asia just one year ago and we have seen outstanding results, proving that Simpson Marine is the best partner to represent the brand and the lifestyle experience through mainland China and Taiwan, territories that we consider integral to our strategic growth,” comments Carla Demaria, president of Monte Carlo Yachts.
“With 30 years of experience in helping Asian customers enjoy the yachting lifestyle, we are confident that MCY offers Asian customers a unique yachting experience that combines forward thinking design with the distinctive classic lines,” comments MD Mike Simpson.
The official Chinese premiere of MCY with Simpson Marine will take place during the coming 3rd edition of Bund Classic, China’s first and only classic car show held in Shanghai. The event is to be held from 16-18 October 2015 at the Bund.
All Monte Carlo Yachts are designed by Nuvolari Lenard design. In just five years Monte Carlo Yachts has introduced five yacht models with MCY 65, MCY 70, MCY 76, MCY 86 and recently introduced superyacht MCY 105 unveiled at a private preview in Venice and exhibited as a premiere at the Cannes and Monaco Yacht Shows in September.
