Finnish yacht-builder Nautor’s Swan has announced the sale of its fourth Swan 115. The order joins three Swan 115s currently in build at Nautor’s Pietarsaari yard – a semi-raised saloon Swan 115-001 S and two flush-deck versions, the Swan 115-002 FD and 115-003 FD.
The Swan 115-004 FD is set for delivery in 2016, while the first Swan 115 S will set sail next summer from Northern Finland.
Enrico Chieffi, CEO of Nautor’s Swan, says the sale of hull number four is a clear indication of a steady recovery of the market for larger yachts over the past year.
“We are successfully selling important boats and this is the reward of Nautor’s Swan strong strategic plan,” he says. “Based on a solid business model and guided by Mr Ferragamo’s vision for brands, our plan is based on three core elements: product development, commercial growth and dedicated customer care programme.”
In addition to the new flagship Swan 115, designed by German Frers for blue water and long distance cruising, Nautor also launched a performance cruising range earlier this year that includes the Swan 60, 80 and 105 RS. A new model is currently in the final stages of development and will be announced in September.
