Ocean Independence has sold a new build 50m Codecasa Vintage for delivery in July 2015.

Project Falcon is already under construction at the Codecasa shipyard in Italy, with build supervision by Ocean Management.

The yacht was sold to a long standing charter client of Ocean Independence charter broker Nadia Bendedouche who teamed up with sales broker Eric Trupheme. Together they researched several projects for the client and presented shipyards and yachts that met the client’s criteria.

Project Falcon’s design, quality and build time made her the best fit and working together, with support from Ocean Management, they negotiated the commercial package and contract with Codecasa.

Project Falcon, previously known as hull C.121, is being built to Lloyd’s class with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure following the Codecasa Vintage series design that has seen the successful build of a 35, 41 and 45m version. She will have a maximum speed of 17.5 knots and a respectable range of 5,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 12 knots.
