The rise is attributed to a number of factors, including a diversification of Offshore’s product range, the company’s ‘complete design to installation’ service, and a sales strategy that has secured a good number of high-value contracts.
“Offshore Systems was founded on a range of tank senders and sensors but we have evolved the company over recent years to produce full monitoring systems for medium to large sized vessels,” says managing director Bruce Coward. “Designers of new builds and refits are looking for cutting-edge designs on the bridge for display systems, as well as effective data reporting.
“Our clients have additionally been attracted by the turnkey service from drawings to installation,” he adds.
Offshore Systems manufactures NMEA2000 integrated alarm, display and control systems for leisure and commercial boatbuilders worldwide. The company recently made several new appointments at its UK site in Hampshire, which was recently expanded.
A further expansion into adjacent premises is planned for later in 2014.
