Designed by Tommaso Spadolini, the 35m (115ft) tri-deck has a 7.8m beam and will be built for an experienced Italian client who was searching for an all aluminum semi-custom yacht that would be tailor-made to match his lifestyle requirements.
Zero speed stabilised and at 295gt, Otam says the yacht will have voluminous interior spaces and will be able to host 10 guests in five cabins, with the owner’s private apartment on the upper deck and six crew members in four cabins.
Otam Yachts and naval architect Umberto Tagliavini collaborated on the efficient, semi-displacement hull which will be able to reach a top speed of 22 knots but also a range of 1,000 nautical miles at 11 knots.
Gianfranco Zanoni, CEO of Otam comments, “We are extremely proud of this new contract, further proof of the quality of the shipyard’s know how and of “Made in Italy” – owner, designer, architect and shipyard – all Italian!”
Aluminum fabrication has commenced at the Genoa Shipyard and delivery is slated for 30 June 2016.
