Italian shipyard Overmarine will officially announce the partnership with Dubai-based Delhaye Gregory Group at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival.
The working relationship between the Delhaye Gregory Group (DGG) and Overmarine for Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, will be made official on occasion of the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival. The show is set to run from 6-11 September.
The Gulf has always been a reference market and one on which Overmarine and its Mangusta brand has been very successful, the shipyard says.
Overmarine reports that Many Mangusta yachts, especially large ones, have been delivered to clients in this area over the past few years, both for cruising in home waters and itinerant between the Gulf and the Mediterranean.
“This has contributed to strengthening the Mangusta image, which is perceived locally, and indeed in the rest of the world, as being a brand of excellence,” Overmarine says.
The market here is one of the most important poles of luxury and this part of the world has a high concentration of wealth.
It is consequently a strategic area for the Overmarine Group’s plans for future development.
In order to better implement these strategies, the Group decided to join up with a partner who knows both this area and high reference clients extremely well.

DGG operates a several companies on a number of market sectors.
