Italy’s Perini Navi Group has revealed details of two projects, which are in different stage of development.
The shipyard is expanding its Perini Navi Racing Line with a 39m sloop C. 2196, a model created in Viareggio’s Technical Department.
The yacht is based on the project designed in collaboration with Philippe Briand, which saw the birth of the 38 metres P2 and C.2130, is currently in the final stages of completion.
Main feature on this project is the sunlight, which permeates the main deck through the newly conceived superstructure.
The restyling includes a brand new opening transom matches the sleek lines of the superstructure. The opening transom has been enlarged and now boasts a 9m2 surface. The carbon rig, also available with a square top main sail, makes it even more aggressive and performing.
In addition, the group announced the design concept for a new generation of Picchiotti motoryachts to join the Vitruvius series.
The series results from the collaboration between Vitruvius Ltd, Philippe Briand and the Perini Navi Group.
The fundamental concepts behind this 50m yacht project are expressed mainly in the aluminium hull and superstructure, in the arrangement of on-board spaces and in the abundance of tenders and toys for the exploration and discovery of the yacht’s environment.
