Porto Montenegro has appointed Nizar Tagi as its new marina sales director. Tagi joined the team in Montenegro this summer from Ocean Independence, following over 25 years’ experience in the large yacht and luxury real estate industries. An avid sailor, Tagi has also sailed around the world on a 90ft classic Abeking & Rasmussen motor sailor. Tagi has been recruited to enhance customer experience.
Tagi comments, “I am very excited to have joined this dynamic project and team here in Montenegro. I was instantly drawn in by the country’s outstanding natural beauty combined with a strong financial and legislative appeal as a homeport destination for superyachts.”
Porto Montenegro’s latest marina extension is now open, offering an additional 150 new berths to its mix. Built to keep in line with market demand, the marina now has a total of 400 berths with capacity for 87 superyachts up to 180m.
After the success of the 2014 summer season, the expansion arrives as the 5-star deluxe Regent Porto Montenegro Hotel opens its doors to its first guests and the Lido complex featuring a 64metre infinity pool, two new restaurants, a meezzanine bar and nightclub has been re-launched. The forthcoming residential building named Ksenija meanwhile, is on course for completion by summer 2015 and is already 67% sold.
