Pratesi, an Italian designer and manufacturer of bed linen, towels and table linen, has launched a business unit for the yachting industry. The move is part of a new five-year expansion plan.

The company has provided bespoke linen to Private Bay, a 123m yacht built by Fincantieri and to Jetsetter, the 39m vessel by Dynamiq Yachts.

Commenting on the project for Fincantieri, Simone Bocchio, chief operations officer of Pratesi Group, says: “This is the path we want to walk down in the future. Private Bay is an example of relevant projects we want to realize to draw the Pratesi path in the more exclusive yachting world. These projects are based on common values: excellence and uniqueness.”

Pratesi also worked with Monaco-based yacht builder Dynamiq Yachts. The Italian company provided bed linens and towels for the 39m motoryacht Jetsetter.

Pratesi designs and manufactures nine collections including bed and table linen, sponges, pillows and accessories using top quality cotton, linen, cashmere and silk.

The company has stores are located in Milan, Florence, Serravalle Scrivia, London, Paris, Moscow, Doha, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Boston, Dallas, Chicago, Palm Beach and in the Dominican Republic.
