RMK Marine has released images of its a new superyacht range. Based in Istanbul, the shipyard builds custom power and sailing yachts from 30m in composites, steel and aluminium.
The new concept, launched at the Monaco Yacht Show, comprises three models ranging 57m to 76m in length and named after Turkish archaeological sites and regions: Halikarnas (better known today as Bodrum), Kapadokya (Cappadocia) and Bergama.
“Each new model has its own style and features, but they all share important common values such as performance, stability, deck space and volume, including that of the crew quarters, which fully comply with the LY3 regulations,” explains Özgür Numan, Yacht Division manager at RMK Marine.
Halikarnas is a 57m with a modern and sleek looking motoryacht. Her design features a futuristic reverse bow, a forward lounge area and a pool on the bridge deck. She has accommodation for 12 guests and a crew of 11. The model is projected to carry 2 x CAT 3512C, 2 x1230 kW @ 1800 rpm.
The 65m Kapadokya is a luxury oceangoing explorer superyacht. Following on from previous explorers vessels developed by RMK Marine, this model includes a huge aft beach, big pool at the aft main deck and a forward garage for toys and tender. She can accommodate up to 12 guests and 15 crewmembers. Propulsion is by 2 x CAT 3512C, 2×1500 kW @ 1600 rpm.
Featuring similar propulsion and accommodation to her sister Kapadokya, the flagship 76m Bergama features elegant lines, vast deck space, massive volume and power.
