During the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show Italian shipyard Rossinavi communicated that it had signed a contract for a new 62m semi-displacement motoryacht. The details released were kept minimal, although the shipyard revealed that the yacht, FR031, will have a hull and superstructure in aluminium and will achive a maximum speed of 28 knots powered by four engines with four Rolls Royce Kamewa water jet propulsion systems. Rossinavi further disclosed that the yacht would have a transatlantic range, helicopter deck and low fuel consumption at cruise speed.
In April of this year Rossinavi launched 48.3m Polaris, which followed the launch of the first Prince Shark 48.3m Param Jamuna IV in 2013. Other projects currently in build at the yard are FR030, a 49m displacement motoryacht and FR029, a 39m displacement classic motoryacht.
