Seakeeper, a US manufacturer of gyro stabilisation systems, has promoted Andrew Semprevivo to the role of VP of sales and marketing. Semprevivo previously worked as director of global sales for the recreational sector at the Maryland-based firm.
“Not only is Andrew the leader of our sales force, recruiting, mentoring and organising our sales personnel, but he also successfully guides our marketing, manages PR and media efforts and is a driving force behind our overall Seakeeper presence,” says Shep McKenney, Seakeeper co-founder and CEO. “Andrew has consistently taken his role and responsibilities at Seakeeper to the next level.”
As director of global sales, Semprevivo was responsible for managing Seakeeper’s global sales and development. He joined the company in 2008 as international inside sales manager with extensive global marine industry experience.
Seakeeper designs and builds stabilisation gyros for recreational craft and superyachts, as well as commercial and military vessels. The company is planning to introduce a complete new line-up that will extend its product offering to boats from 9.1m-67.1m (30ft-220ft). More details will be unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.
