Poland’s Sunreef Yachts is expanding its global presence with the opening of a new sales office in Dubai. The yard, which also has offices in Ft Lauderdale in the US and in Shanghai, China, is strongly exploring the Middle East market by taking part in regional events and displaying its yachts in local marinas.

The three-month presence of the 70 Sunreef Power DAMRAK II in the Middle East this summer and strong interest from local buyers was a trigger for the opening of the new office, says Sunreef. The catamaran was officially presented at the region’s most exclusive marinas: Emirates Palace Marina Abu Dhabi, Pearl Qatar Marina in Doha and Dubai International Club Marina.

The yacht was also displayed in Oman and Bahrain before it crossed the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal to reach Phuket in Thailand, where she will host luxury charters around Thailand and Malaysia with Sunreef Charters.

Sunreef is also taking part in Middle East boat shows, where it will disclose further details of its new power superyacht projects, the 90 Sunreef Power and 210 Power Trimaran. Last week the shipyard attended the 1st Qatar International Boat Show at Doha’s Lusail Marina. Its presence at the 2014 Dubai International Boat Show, held in March next year, has also been confirmed.
