Sunrise Yachts has announced that, together with John and Jeanette Staluppi, it has decided to market Project Skyfall – the first of a series. The Staluppi signed the build contract for project Skyfall earlier this year.
The couple owns superyachts Skyfall (ex Mi Sueno, and Skyfall II (ex-O’Khalila)), and have agreed to concede their slot to the right buyer.
Hull #1 steelwork is nearly completed and the first vessel will be available in March 2017.
Project “Skyfall” is a fast-displacement, steel hull and aluminium superstructure, transatlantic luxury motoryacht. The yacht was designed by Vallicelli & Co., with an interior design by Focus Yacht Design and naval architecture by Mulder Design and Ozgün Yacht Design.
The “Skyfall” series will feature performance levels and new technologies never combined in yacht projects before, including MME microturbines – the power generating solution of the future.
Founded in 2006 by German businessman and yachtsman Herbert P. Baum and British-French yacht-builder Guillaume Roché, Sunrise Yachts in based in the Free Zone of Antalya, Turkey. The yard’s 20,000sq m facility offers yacht construction for projects up to 75m in length and 2,000-tonne displacement.and refit solutions to the international market.
After delivering the 45m Africa in 2009, and the 45m Atomic in 2014, the company is currently building five superyachts ranging from 34m to 63m.
