The 2014 edition of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show was the first opportunity for Sunrise Yachts to showcase 45m Atomic which was delivered earlier in the year. She had been expected at the Monaco Yacht Show, but due to a last minute decision from her owner was pulled out at short notice.
The shipyard has revealead that Atomic received more than 300 visitors, including 17 superyacht owners, and was warmly received. The Sunrise stand had both visitors from North and South America who were impressed by the seaworthy qualities, fuel efficiency and volumes onboard.
Guillaume Roché, Sunrise Yachts co-founder and CEO, stated: “We are very proud of the quality achieved with M/Y Atomic, which is bringing us one – great – step closer to our objectives in term of engineering and construction standards. We intend to continue improving with every project we are currently building and we look forward to exhibiting our new yachts at FLIBS in 2015 and beyond.”
The owner of Atomic attended the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show and his contagious excitement about the yacht helped convince new clients to build their yacht projects with Sunrise Yachts: a 45m (sistership to Atomic), a 50m and a 60m (Design by A. Vallicelli & Co), with 2017 and 2018 delivery, as well as another 50m (Design by Espen Øino) in discussion.
Further details will be released on the projects at the beginning of 2015.
