Italian yacht-builder Aicon SpA has finalised a new dealership agreement for the commercialisation of Aicon-branded yachts and superyachts with Sailing Plus, a leader in the Lebanese boating market. The agreement forms part of the group’s geographical expansion plan into new markets.

“The Middle East area represents a very important market in the development plan of international growth of the Aicon commercial network from an international point of view,” says Lino Siclari, chairman and CEO of the Aicon Group. “We are confident that the agreement signed with Sailing Plus will be the starting point for the creation of a strong cooperation, in order to take every opportunity coming from a market in great expansion as the one of the Lebanese area.”

Located in front of La Marina JK, just north of Beirut, Sailing Plus offers a wide range of services, including new and used yacht sales, marine engineering, charter and yacht management. The company is said to be one of the Middle East’s leading nautical companies, with a particularly strong presence in Lebanon and the Gulf.

Aicon designs and builds the Aicon range of flybridge and open yachts, as well as dinghy, lobster and fast commuters under the Morgan brand name. Active in the marine sector since 1999, the group has two production sites in Sicily, southern Italy.
