Dutch superyacht builder Amels has announced the early launch of its largest Limited Editions series yacht to date – the 65.5m Limited Editions Amels 212.
Designed by Tim Heywood, with an Andrew Winch interior, the 1,503 gross tonnage yacht is just weeks from completion and is set for an early delivery well ahead of schedule.
“The success of the Limited Editions concept has firmly established Amels as the market leader in the premium semi-custom segment,” says managing director Rob Luijendijk. “We pioneered the concept with the Amels 171 and 177, and now we are expanding the range to the Amels 212, and soon the Amels 242.”
The Amels 212 is one of 10 projects currently under construction at the Dutch yard. Its facility in Vlissingen in the south of the Netherlands is now running at 100 per cent capacity. A second Amels 212 is due for launch a year after its sistership.
