The Founding Committee of the Asia-Pacific Superyacht Association (APSA) has announced it has 45 founding members from 14 countries.
The primary objective of the APSA is to promote the Asia-Pacific region to the global superyacht community both as a cruising destination and as a location for superyacht construction, refit and services.
“The whole of the yachting world is looking to Asia as the next unspoilt cruising ground, and we are seeing a steady growth of both visiting and privately owned yachts in the region,” says APSA chairman, Colin Dawson. “One of the primary objectives of APSA is to create a sustainable superyacht industry.”
Memberships are now available and there are various categories to suit all sizes of operation. The not-for-profit organisation aims to have an inclusive Association with members working together to grow the region as a whole.
