Bob Saxon was named president of International Yacht Collection (IYC), a yacht charter and management firm based in Ft Lauderdale, Florida. The company is a subsidiary of Trinity Yachts.

Saxon has had a long-time presence in the yachting sector. In 2002, he sold his yacht management firm to Camper & Nicholsons after 15 years in business. He was named president of Camper & Nicholsons USA. He has also been president of the Sacks Group, and vice president at Whittemore & Williams, a yacht management firm.

“There is no one better suited to expand IYC’s worldwide brand,” said Felix Sabates, chairman of IYC and Trinity Yachts. “His understanding of the totality of the modern yachting business and his ability to understand owners and their needs are critical to our global expansion.”

Sabates said that IYC’s central listings of 150 yachts represents three-quarters of a billion dollars. The firm also acquired The Sacks Group before the Ft Lauderdale show, adding to its charter and yacht management roster.
