Gulf Craft has reported a successful European boat show season, with total unit sales up by 40 per cent compared to the same time last year. The UAE-based boatbuilder had a significant presence at the Cannes, Monaco and Genoa shows, selling a 41m (135ft) Majesty 135 tri-deck to a client from the GCC in Monaco.
“We are pleased with the outcome of the boat shows, and encouraged to further our commitment to the global yachting market,” says Gulf Craft CEO Nasser Alshaali. “We have seen over a 40 per cent increase in unit sales year on year so far. The Majesty 125, Majesty 63 and Majesty 56 were well received by media, customers, brokers and chartering companies, demonstrating the innovation and versatility of these designs.”
Founded in 1982, Gulf Craft builds fibreglass boats and yachts from 6m-41m (20ft-135ft) under the Majesty, Oryx and Silvercraft brands. The company exports around 70 per cent of its output and has an annual production capacity of more than 500 boats.
