Korean shipbuilder Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) has commissioned the design of a series of models from Italian architects for a superyacht building project planned in conjunction with an established Korea-based boatbuilder.

Italian designer Andrea Borzelli has developed the exterior design, layout and interior design of two of what will be a series of nine yacht models from 20m-73m (66ft-240ft) that DSME plans to build in partnership with Ghi Yachts of Korea.

The first design to be released is for a 24m (79ft) aluminium yacht capable of a maximum speed of 29kt. The second design (pictured) is for a 43m (141ft) yacht with steel hull, aluminium superstructure and a customisable interior.

Francesco Rogantin has provided naval architecture for the projects.
