Dutch Yacht Builders (DYB) has entered the ranks of superyacht builders with the completion of its first new-build project. Scheduled for launch in August, the 43.5m (143ft) motoryacht (yard number DYB43), designed by Cor D Rover, is currently being fitted out at DYB’s Enkhuizen yard. She is built of aluminium and has a beam of 8.4m (28ft) and draft of 2.3m (8ft)
The hull design is by Van Oossanen & Associates BV. Accommodation extends across two decks with the upper deck being home to five staterooms for the owner and guests with a sixth convertible stateroom. The lower deck has two full beam VIP staterooms and two guest cabins. There is a sky lounge which is a multi-purpose area which maybe a gym or the convertible stateroom. In addition there is a large main saloon and dining area. The interior design is by the Dutch design house Piet Boon Design. The yacht includes a sun deck with bar and Jacuzzi. Crew accommodation is provided for the captain and six crew.
