Custom Line, the Italian superyacht builder and part of the Ferretti Group, has signed a sales contract with real estate company Xanadu South China Sea for a 34m (112ft) Ferretti Custom Line 112′ NEXT – one of the largest yachts ever to be sold in China.

The yacht will be used for guests of the Xanadu South China Sea tourist complex, which is currently being built in Southern China on the island of Hainan. When completed, the resort will boast a five-star hotel, villas, a spa, conference centre, landing pad for helicopters and private marina.

“Ferretti Custom Line 112′ NEXT’s arrival in China, made possible through the hard work of our dealer Speedo Marine, is both an important sign and a reason of great pride for our Group,” says Ferretti CEO Salvatore Basile. “The Ferretti Group considers the Chinese market to be a strategic, highly promising area for our sector.”

Ferretti Custom Line produces planing and semi-displacement fibreglass yachts from 26m-38m (85ft-125ft) in length. The company has been present in China for the past seven years, with a branch of representation in Shanghai.
