Italy’s Perini Navi Group delivered Galileo G to its new owner at the Picchiotti shipyard in La Spezia last week.
The 55m (180ft) Ice Class motoryacht is the second of three motoryachts sold to date from the group’s Picchiotti division.
She has been designed and built according to Ice Class classification rules for navigation along the Northwest Passage.
The third motoryacht in the Picchiotti Vitruvius series, the 73m (240ft) MY C.2189, is scheduled to arrive in La Spezia in early 2012.
It will be finished after initial hull construction is completed at the Perini Istanbul-Yildiz shipyard in Turkey.
MY C.2189 is scheduled to be consigned in the first half of the year 2013.
