Despite difficulties caused by the financial problems at Drettmann, Taiwan’s Jade Yachts is continuing to work on four Bandido 90s and one 52m (171ft) Bandidio design.

Jade has re-branded the smaller yachts Jade 90s and is now actively seeking buyers for them.

The outcome of the liquidation process at Drettmann, meanwhile, is still awaited.

Memphis Han, Jade’s chief executive, told Superyacht Business Newsletter: “We are concentrating on new-build work and are busy with the five Bandido yachts as well as two others where we have started on the design and engineering work.
