mouldCAM, a CNC tooling company based in Brisbane, Australia, recently opened its new European manufacturing base in Poole, Dorset.

The company has also signed contracts with a number of European marine brands, including Oyster, X-Yachts, Sealine and Gunfleet to develop tooling for their latest models.

“Our new premises in southern England is home to one of the world’s largest CNC machines and is ideally located to allow mouldCAM to service its rapidly growing European customer base,” says Mark Northey European operations director at mouldCAM.

Toby Whitfield, mouldCAM’s managing director, says that mouldCAM is also attracting a growing interest in its composite shaping capabilities from the architectural realm.

This year mouldCAM is working on a number of high-end marine projects, including the new flagship 46m Sunseeker, the 18m Danish Yachts Aerospeed, the Oyster Marine 885 and the Volvo round the World Race entrant Puma.
