Italian superyacht builder Overmarine will add 9000m2 of construction space when its new facility in Pisa opens in approximately two months.
Overmarine will use the purpose-designed construction hall to build a new generation of steel and aluminium hulled motoryachts.
Currently its range of yachts are constructed from composites, with moulding completed at its Massa facility, and outfitting of Mangusta performance motoryachts carried out in Viareggio.
The Pisa facility will extend the maximum build length from 50m (164ft) to 70m (230ft).
Overmarine plan to start work on their first 68m (223ft) performance motoryacht as soon as the Pisa facility is operational. It will feature an aluminium hull
