The Palma International Yachting Forum will be taking place on 1 May to 3 May and offers the opportunity for yachting professionals from all over the world to gather and discuss a wide range of issues facing the 30m ( 98ft) plus commercial yachting sector for the coming year.
There will be the opportunity to listen to some of the yachting industry’s most prominent experts, who will discuss topical subjects and provide solutions to specific problems. Additionally, delegates will interact in work groups in the morning to discuss and debate key points to be raised in larger afternoon sessions attended by industry specialists.
The forum has been intentionally scheduled to run alongside the Palma Boat Show in order to maximise networking potential and attract a higher number of overseas guests. In addition, the event is organised with significant importance placed on social interaction, as attendees will have the opportunity to network at lunches and the working day is shortened to enable a more relaxed approach to exploring commercial yachting issues. One of the events organisers, Peter Franklin, comments, “Aside from being satisfied on a commercial level, we would like the Yachting Forum visitors to come away with a feeling that they’ve learnt a bit about Palma as a city and had a great social time.”
