Alia Yachts in Turkey has announced that Rüya, a 41.29m full composite displacement motoryacht, was launched on Wednesday 21st July following a build period of just over two years. The yacht will now undergo extensive sea trials before delivery to owners in September 2015.

The yard says this model has been built for experienced outdoors-loving owners. The design brief was for a spacious sub-500GT “go-anywhere” yacht around the 40-metre mark, with a timeless design that was both practical and functional.

Exterior and interiors are designed by Sam Sorgiovanni and all interior fittings were undertaken by the yard’s interior division. Naval architecture is by Van Oossanen and David McQueen of Australia-based Motor Yacht Build undertook project management.

Rüya is a tri-deck design with multiple usable spaces. Particular focus was on maximizing the outdoor areas, with the yacht boasting a huge 93m2 sun deck with full bar and a 10-person Jacuzzi. The vessel’s aft storage hatches open up to create a practical sports area with a spacious swim deck and on-water beach club.

The yacht is able to accommodate 10 guests across five cabins, with two additional Pullmans. The generous master suite is located on the main deck, with two double and two twin VIP guest staterooms on the lower deck. There are five cabins for ten crewmembers.

Built to Lloyds Register and compliance with the MCALY2, Rüya is powered by twin Cat C32 ACERT engines providing maximum speed of 14 knots with a range of 4,116nm while cruising at 10 knots.

She will be on display at the 2015 Monaco Yacht Show in September.

Alia Yachts is headquartered in Antalya where it manufactures fully custom yachts between 30m and 60m.
