Bilgin Yachts in Istanbul has announced that construction of Bilgin 155 nears completion. New 46.8m motoryacht is due for delivery in May 2016.

Bilgin 155 is the latest addition to the shipyard’s displacement line. She has a beam of 9.2m and draft of 2.4m. The yacht has been designed and equipped to RINA Commercial Class Maltese Cross Hull, Mach, Y unrestricted and LY3 regulations.

Powered by two CAT C32 1450bhp 2300rpm marine diesel engines she could reach a maximum speed of 16 knots. The navigation equipment will be fitted in accordance with regulations A1+A2+A3 unrestricted navigation.

This steel and aluminium motoryacht was designed by London-based design studio H2 two years ago.

The Turkish shipyard is also working on Bilgin 156, a 47.6m project built on spec and due for launch in 2017.
