Canados has announced the sale of a Canados 90 Open to an European client. The 27m motoryacht is the first unit to be sold under the yard’s new ownership. The yacht will be delivered later this month.
The Rome-based shipyard has also announced that the 18-month plan to revamp the yard’s infrastructure is well underway.
Phase 1, which consisted in initiating works in the shipyard, has started with various upgrades of the assembly sheds that have already been completed.
The marina and the haul out basin will soon be dredged to allow the refit and service activities to start sometime in April 2106.
Canados has also announced that an agreement has been signed with Venice-based firm Cristiano Gatto Design. Gatto had prior experience with Canados designing the interior of a 32m and a 36m model.
Commenting on the partnership, Gatto says: “Myself and the entire team at Cristiano Gatto Design are really proud as we know from fact, anything is possible at Canados and every detail will always be produced in the best possible way. We experienced great collaboration with Canados in the past and I know their interiors can only exceed both my team and clients’ expectations.”
Canados’ technical and design office has been working on new models that will be released all along the season until the Cannes Yachting Festival 2016.
In addition, Canados has opened its first Canados’ Factory Office in France. Based in Golfe Juan at Port Camille Rayon, Cote d’Azur, the new location is the first in a series of factory offices opening on marinas where clients are using their boats.
These offices will allow Canados owners to talk direct to shipyard associates as well as benefit from the factory services and assistance.
