Feadship has announced that Vanish, a 66m motoryacht, was launched on Saturday 23 January at its facility on Kaag Island. The yacht is the first new build Feadship of 2016.
She is a twin screw motoryacht with steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Her exterior styling is result of the collaboration between Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects and Eidsgaard Design.
The shipyard says that some of the highlights on this latest addition to its fleet include a free-standing staircase flanked by a glass wall over three decks, an extendable balcony for the owner’s stateroom and an innovative transom design.
Commenting on this project, Feadship director Jan-Bart Verkuyl says: “Vanish has been designed to suit the way [the owners] like to spend time onboard with a wide array of watersports options. With helipads on both the sun deck aft and bow area, she serves as a springboard to a world of adventures for the owners and their guests.”
Vanish is equipped with 2x MTU 16V4000 M63L, 2240 kW @ 1800 rpm capable to provide a reach of 5,200nm @ 12 knots.
In addition to the owners quarters, Vanish carries four guest suites and a VIP stateroom, which can also be converted into two guest suites on the main deck. There is also accommodation for a crew of 17.
