Heesen Yachts has just announced the sale of YN 18151, a 51m semi-displacement full-custom motoryacht below the 500gt threshold. Her exterior lines and interiors are by Eidsgaard Design making this the first collaboration between the two companies. Heesen says the yacht will be a head turner with a svelte profile and impressive performance.
The yacht will be able achive a top speed of 25 knots with a range of 2,425 nautical miles at 11 knots. She will have accomodation for 10 crew and 10 guests.
The sale of the new contract was brokered by SuperYachtsMonaco.
Heesen Yachts has also revealed that the demolition of two old production halls will start this month to make room for an 80m drydock. “Yachts are getting bigger and this is our investment in the future,” says Mark Cavendish, the yard’s sales and marketing chief.
Construction of the drydock will start June 15 and take 16 months, Cavendish said.
