US boatbuilder Hodgdon Yachts has named Audrey Hodgdon as the company’s new director of sales and marketing.
Audrey is the sixth generation member of the Hodgdon family to work at the company. For the past two years she has been the marketing manager.
She joins a strong sales team, which includes Cyril Le Sourd, based in Monaco, and Eric Leslie, based in Newport, Rhode Island.
“Audrey’s expanded role demonstrates the company’s commitment to our 200-year history in the marine industry,” says Hodgdon president and CEO Timothy Hodgdon.
“With Audrey and other key team members in place, we’re better equipped to take advantage of new opportunities.”
Audrey will be based in East Boothbay, at the company’s headquarters in Maine.
In her new role, Audrey Hodgdon will focus on accelerating the brand’s presence in the custom sail and power boat market. She will also be focusing on increasing the superyacht tenders division.
Her career background includes working in New Zealand at High Modulus, a composites design and engineering firm in the marine industry.
More recently she worked at Diversified Communications, an international media and event management company.
Hodgdon’s divisions include Hodgdon Yachts, specialising in custom sail and power yacht construction up to 60m, Hodgdon Custom Tenders, Hodgdon Interiors, Hodgdon Yacht Services and Hodgdon Defense Composites.
