Mondomarine has begun the construction of its M40 Explorer yacht by laying the keel at its shipyard in Savona.
The first steel plates have been assembled under the shipyard management and Sergio Cutolo’s surveillance. Sergio Cutolo of HydroTec is in charge of the project overseeing the development of the architecture and the exterior design.
Intended for a European owner, the new M40 Explorer features a high bow, vertical bridge windows and generous living spaces. The M40’s structural strength ensures maximum safety even in very demanding conditions and its engines are appropriately sized to fit long range cruising.
The construction of the M40 Explorer coincides with important milestones for both the companies involved: Mondomarine is celebrating 100 years of unstopped activity in Savona and Hydro Tec has just successfully achieved 20 years in business.
