The in-house team led by Franco Romani has worked on the design concept for this new 47m sloop.
The latest project by Italy’s Perini Navi is a 47m aluminum sloop. The new design concept has been conceived by the in-house team led by Franco Romani.
The Viareggio-based shipyard says this 47m sloop combines performing hull lines and sleek sill lines, with the Perini Navi style and onboard comfort for which the brand is well known.
In addition, the yacht utilises Perini Navi’s patented steering system, which boasts twin rudders and ensures a tactile handling.
There is also a new concept keel design, which Perini Navi says is the evolution of its extensive experience to ensure optimum performance. The pivoting centerboard offers draft options of 3.9m to 9.5m.
With Perini Navi’s proprietary sail handling systems, the 47m yacht has been designed to be sailed with ease and has the option for extensive stored power using the yard’s lithium battery system.
Two of Perini Navi’s newest yachts, the 70m sailing yacht Sybaris and the 38m sailing yacht Dahlak are equipped with this battery system.
The new 47m project also features more than 160sq m of outdoor living space, all on one level.
In addition to the owners’ cabin, the yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests.
The flush foredeck houses the yacht’s tender and offers a Moroccan bimini, providing a third outdoor living area. The yacht also features a 32sqm beach club.
