The Overmarine Group has launched the first unit of the brand new Mangusta 132 model at its shipyard in Viareggio. The yacht will be presented as a world premiere at the Monaco Yacht Show in September.
The Mangusta 132 is the fourth Mangusta Maxi Open model to be introduced onto the market over the past two years, after Mangusta models 94, 110 and 165 E.
The current Mangusta range features Maxi Opens from 72 to 215 ft. The Mangusta 165, the tenth unit of which was just sold, with her 50m in length and able to reach a speed of 40 knots depending by the featured engine power train, is currently the fastest Maxi Open in the world of her length.
To the Maxi Opens, a new ocean-going vessel range has been added: the Mangusta Oceano line. Designed to successfully enter a different market segment, the long range production offers owners exclusive on board comfort by integrating the latest technological processes and the most advanced marine equipment with inside volumes difficult to find on the market. It features vessels of 42m and of 46m, both under construction. Other projects up to 55m are in plan.
Over the past few years, the Group has implemented a strategic development plan to expand and renew its range, focusing on growth and greater efficiency, that is maintaining a high performance and onboard comfort whilst at the same time ensuring increasingly lower consumption.
