Dutch motorboat builder Rapsody Yachts has unveiled R110, the latest addition to its portfolio. This 34.8m yacht is the biggest in the Rapsody range and has been designed by Dykstra Naval Architects.
Commenting on the new model Diederik van Golen of Rapsody Yachts says: “The R110 is a beautiful addition to Rapsody’s model range. We are renowned for producing vintage looking day boats that are the right mix between retro looks and modern techniques. This yacht is the epitome of sophistication and class and we are really pleased with the design”.
R110 features smooth lines and a sleek profile. Below the flush foredeck the Rapsody R110 conceals a sports car that can be parked on shore with the help of an integrated crane.
Thys Nikkels, managing director and naval architect at Dykstra NA, comments: “The characteristic S-shaped profile of the existing Rapsody range was the biggest inspiration for the styling of the R110, resulting in a unique super yacht that is instantly recognizable as a Rapsody yacht.”
The boatbuilder says this model can be delivered with tailor-made performance and that she can be equipped with various engine and propulsion arrangements enabling top speeds in excess of 32 knots.
“The flush foredeck, large open areas and beach club make this superyacht perfect for enjoying the Mediterranean in style,” explains Hilbert ten Have, naval architect at Dykstra NA.
R110 provides accommodation for six people in three cabins, while the crew area in the aft ship houses a crew of four and a dedicated crew mess.
Based in Heeg, the Netherlands, Rapsody Yachts started its yacht building operation in 1999 after years in the brokerage sector. The company has delivered over 300 units.
